Paolo Principi, musician and sound designer, begins to play the accordion at the age of 7. He continues to study his first instrument for more than ten years with Rolando Bolognini.
He discovers jazz music, the piano and electronic sounds and begins to work as consultant musician for a little Italian company named Orla. His collaborations as sound designer includes: Viscount, Syncro, Korg Japan (member of Korg Voicing team for Triton, Oasys and Z1), IK Multimedia, Studiologic.
Degree in Dams (Dispipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello spettacolo), University of Bologna with Maro Baroni on a computer music analysis application (work presented and published at "XI Colloquio di Informatica Musicale", Genova 1995).
His studies music composition (Baggiani, Solbiati), Film Music (Ennio Morricone - Accademia Chigiana, Siena), Music Conduction (Donato Renzetti), Computer Music (Camilleri, Carreras), Music Analysis (Carl Shacter - New York University) and Jazz Music (Pieranunzi, Gaslini, Schiaffini, Rea).
He composes music fort the theatre (Giampiero Solari, Luigi Moretti, Valerio Binasco, Remo Girone), for videos and multimedia applications.
In the 1998 he founds "Punctus Multimedia Studio" for music and multimedia productions.
In the 2015 he founds "PSound" for virtual instruments creation and production (Vintage Accordion is his first product).
He works as Studiologic Sound Designer and Consultant Musician since 2010 (Numa Piano).
