Numa Manager is designed to work best on the platforms listed in the [official requirements](../numa_manager/#requirements). The purpose of this guide is to help you use Numa Manager even on unsupported systems. ## Windows 7, 8, 8.1 Numa Manager can work on older Windows systems too, including 32 bit. Make sure you install the appropriate RPC driver for your instrument. ### RPC driver Numa Compact 2, Numa Compact 2x, Numa X Piano and Numa X Piano GT use two different drivers: - *MIDI and AUDIO* driver - *RPC driver* for connection with Numa Manager While *MIDI and AUDIO* driver is included in Windows, *RPC driver* is automatically installed in recent Windows systems when you connect the instrument for the first time. If you use Windows 7 or your system is unable to install the RPC driver correctly, you can install it manually. RPC driver ## Linux We consider all Studiologic users the same way. This also includes Linux users. Unfortunately, the current implementation of Numa Manager is based on a third-party library that is compatible with Windows and macOS only. We have already asked the vendor to make the library compatible with Linux as well and we hope this will happen soon. In the meantime stay tuned and if you are a Linux user, let us know on our socal channels.
