## Release notes ### 1.7.0 Ready to be connected with Mixface with automatic settings. SL Programs can control and store Mixface Programs that are shown on the SL display. With Mixface connected each Zone of the SL can be routed via Bluetooth. ### 1.6.2 Minor improvements ### 1.6.1 Minor improvements on the Pitch Bend. ### 1.6.0 **PROGRAM CHANGE** Now it is possible to increment or decrement the internal SL-Programs; the function can be set independently on Pedal 1, Pedal 2 or sent to external devices/software via USB through the selected (enabled) Common Channel. **COMMON CHANNEL** Common channel can be set to values from Channel 1 to 16, allowing to select the main SL-Programs from an external computer software and send the Programs Plus/Minus controls via USB. Program change and Common channel are in the GLOBAL/SYSTEM page. ### 1.5.2 Improved position detection of sticks. Default value of Stick 1 Y set to OFF. Default value of Stick 2 X set to OFF. ### 1.5.1 Initial release ## Update procedure Before updating your SL, make sure to use the latest version of SL Editor. 1. Download and install **SL Editor**. Get SL Editor 2. Download the firmware: SL88 Grand Firmware 1.7.0 SL88 Studio Firmware 1.7.0 SL73 Studio Firmware 1.7.0 3. Connect the SL Keyboard to the Computer via USB. 4. Turn on the SL while pressing the top IN button; the display will show *FIRMWARE UPGRADE* (the version number is referred to the bootloader only).  5. Open the SL Editor. 6. On the GLOBAL / MIDI page set the SL DEVICE PORT 2, also called MIDI 2 (SL-DEVICE), as both INPUT and OUTPUT devices (don’t click CONNECT). 7. On the SL Editor select the firmware file *.syx* that you have previously downloaded. 8. Click TRANSMIT and wait for the end of the procedure, then reboot the instrument (OFF then ON).
